For Essex Boy James Lock, the only way is luxe
In the three years since James Lock arrived on screens as part of the cast of The Only Way Is Essex, he’s become as well known for his smooth style as for his explosive storylines. Always slickly groomed, and with a penchant for timeless tailoring, Lock’s passion for fashion has made him one of the show’s sharpest dressers.
So when it came to creating a pair of bespoke slippers fit for such a stylish character, there was only one way to go. Set against midnight blue velvet, Lock’s Essex roots are represented by three pommelled swords from the county’s coat-of-arms. The swords are emblazoned in gold bullion onto a St. George’s cross, and surrounded by interlaced vines and locks. On top, surmounted by a gold heart, the knight’s helmet represents the wearer’s chivalrous, romantic nature – a side underlined by the red English roses which bloom around the shield.
