Model of the moment George Hard shows off Summer 2017’s best lounge looks, for Candid magazine.
Luxury never goes out of style; it just changes direction from time to time. And in the last few years, championed by labels like Gucci and Saint Laurent, a cool new take on dressing up is coning back into fashion. Buttoned-up dress codes are out, and relaxed individuality is in. For proof, look no further than Candid magazine’s latest issue, where photographer Kim Jobson and stylist Sophie Emmett get together for a 14-page spread in the eclectic surrounds of London’s Hospital members club.
In the shoot, George Hard — one of the modelling scene’s most popular faces — kicks back in vibrant colours, and high-contrast graphic prints from the likes of Westwood, Gucci and Diesel. Wide-legged trousers come teamed with skinny polo knits and Donhall & Bell’s new calfskin sneakers (in mismatched colours of course), whilst tailoring are given a laid-back boho twist with printed knits and plush Donhall & Bell velvet slippers.
